*killua sighs as he walks down the hall to gon's cabin, rapping his knuckles on the door in the secret pattern they'd invented. he's got a half-empty bottle of soda with him, which he sips while he waits for gon to barrel over to the door and let him in so he can tell him about his plan.*

[The deed was done. Now that he could put the confusing nature of his relationship with Pitou behind him, there was one more thing he had to do--confess to Killua. He takes one step after regretful step, hanging his head low as he passes down the hallway in shame. Would Killua have it in his heart to forgive this type of stupidity? He didn't think he deserved it after seeing what those types of inconsistency and lies can do to a person. Before, he had juggled tourists like it was nothing and nobody cared. But now, there's a lot more riding on his actions. Deeper expectations than he's used to having born from deeper bonds. Roped into the tantalizing throes of adult lust, he bit off far more than he could chew and now that he knows better, he realizes it's too late to take it back.

Gon takes the left side of the intersection where the cabins meet the general hallway, striding down it and getting slower the closer he gets. He knows he should just hold his head up high and own up to it, but it's hard. Killua doesn't deserve this, though he didn't want to see his back like Pitou showed him hers. Losing his other half would make him crumble. Being clustered together on the ship would never feel the same if it went badly and he knows this well but he just can't keep secrets.

When he gets to the door plated with Killua's name, he takes a deep breath and anxiously taps on the door with his knuckles in a rhythm only Killua would be able to discern. He's fully dressed, jacket and all, which is unusual for him since Summer started.]
