As soon as tissue is done fusing back together, the glow fades, and she falls forward into him after her exhausted eyes flutter shut. Pure, unadulterated joy is the last thing she feels before passing out.
There's a ring of scarlet blood all over her the hemmed edges of her sleeves, as well as drips and splatters all over the front of her shirt.]
