*after kurapika falls asleep in his own cabin, melody takes her leave to give him some privacy. she intends to return to the music room to vent some of her feelings into the piano, but freezes in place when the next door she passes has her own name on it. she opens it up and finds herself in an elegant bedroom open to a balcony overlooking a peaceful spring field, not unlike the one she conjures with her flute. gasping in delight, she runs to the balcony and clings to the railing, breathing in the fresh spring air with a peaceful smile.*

I may investigate it. I’m curious what it might show me. I can’t think of a bad memory.

I’d probably like to investigate the music room but I fear I don’t know how to play anything.

*melody is baffled by her response to the news of the memory room, but she’s delivered her warning and it’s up to pitou if she wants to heed it or not.*

well… i’m already offering lessons to killua in there, so i wouldn’t mind taking up another student if you’d like to learn one, too.

She nods to the woman and strolls to the door. Before leaving she turns back. A little secret for you melody, make sure you tell nobody.

Her ears flick as she grins. I’m much younger than you think I am~ She purrs teasingly.

*her smile is replaced by a gape of surprise at the final reveal. could some of that inhuman speed have been from youth? with no others of her species to compare her to, there was no way she could know. she smiles again, bested.*

Her tone is light but her body gives a different message. As if to say “Tell anyone and bad things may happen.”

She smiled happily, giving a slight bow before leaving.
