*killua steps out of the cat room and leads gon down the hall to a tricky little room he'd discovered with alluka several weeks prior.*

once we go in, it's not gonna let us leave without taking a bath.

*he steps inside and allows himself to be stripped, watching as all their clothes peel off and stick to the blank walls around them. down to just his soiled underwear, he grins sheepishly at gon.*

...but when we leave, our clothes will be be clean, too!

*killua's heart does a somersault at gon's words, even though they're the same ones he just said to him. he's caught off-guard by the kiss, flushing violently.*

*he lifts the showerhead to spray gon in the stomach as punishment before shutting it off, ready for the tub.*

Hahaha, heyyy! C'mon!!

[Gon giggles at the spray of water, putting his hands up to block it from reaching his sensitive tummy. The very warm water comes rushing out of the tub's faucet, slowly filling it up.

Gon steps one foot in the spacious tub, then the other, and sits down in the pooling water. He spreads his body out, sighing in relief. The water line gradually rises up his legs.]

It's high enough to sit in now.

*killua grins past his blush as gon giggles, the prank making him feel a little more like himself in a situation that is otherwise so unfamiliar to him. he follows him to the edge of the tub, watching from outside as it fills up around gon’s body.*

Yeah! Bubbles rule!

[Gon's childish spirit is reignited for bath time. He leans over the side of the tub, unable to stop himself from staring at his best friend. The smile on his face can't be contained. He was going to get to play with Killua in the bath for the first time!]

Aren't you cold out there? C'mon, come get warm with me!

*killua can’t help but smile at gon’s enthusiasm, rising to his feet at his insistence.*

hold on a minute, let me get the bubbles.

*he’s about to grab the same bottle he and alluka used, but hesitates, knowing it’s her favorite and not wanting to run out. that’s when he notices a little basket full of fragrant, colorful spheres. he picks it up and brings it over, holding it out to show gon as he sits in the water.*

hey, check these out. what do you think they are?

Woah, what are those?

[He picks up a space themed one and looks at it for a second, turning it around in front of his eyes. Then he mistakenly drops it into the water. It starts fizzing aggressively and dissolving, coloring the water around them in rich bands of blacks, blues and purples.]

It's filling the tub! What the heck?!

*killua's eyes bulge when the ball falls into the water and begins to fizz like a firework, making the water around gon look like a perfect picture of the milky way. some of the white bands begin to foam up, making trails of bubbles all around him.*

i dunno, but it's making bubbles!

*pleased with the result, he sets the basket on the edge and slips into the tub on the other side, trying not to disrupt the colors too much.*

You're right! I kinda like it.

[He sticks his fingertip in the water and wags it in a circle, watching the colors swirl and bloom in waves around it. He draws a line through the water all the way to Killua. The banding hues dance elegantly along the bubbling surface as the size of the color-changing ball dwindles. There appears to be something inside it, and he grabs the chunk left of the ball. Examining it closer, the ball contains little moon and sun pendants.]

There's prizes inside! Look!

sweet, what’d we win?

*killua scoots a little closer, his shins brushing gon’s beneath the water as he peers at the piece leftover. when he sees the two symbols within, his smile falters, replaced with a wistful blush.*

These are nice!

[Gon pulls off the remaining gunk from the ball and washes the rest off in the water, leaving the two pendants shiny and golden beneath the bathroom lights.]

Which one do you want, Killua? [He asks, presenting them to him with one in each hand.] I'm guessing we're supposed to attach these on a string or chain if we find one. I know there's string in the cat room!

*killua blinks at gon, surprised that he's asking his opinion at all. it should be obvious which of the two suits him, and even moreso which suits gon. without hesitation he takes the moon pendant and cast his gaze down upon it, watching it catch the light bouncing off the star-swirled water in his palm.*

...this one.

[Gon hands Killua the moon pendant, leaving him with the sun. He stares at his distorted reflection in its big round body, giggling at the sight. Putting it down on the rim of the tub, he gets an idea and reaches out to Killua.]

Can I see yours real quick? I promise I'll give it right back!

*killua hands the pendant back, wondering what gon has in mind.*

[Gon takes the pendant in his hand and lays a kiss on it before dropping it back in his boyfriend's hands.]

For extra protection and luck! Aunt Mito would always bless little keepsakes before handing them to me, so I thought maybe I could start doing it for you too!

*killua’s cheeks flush again at the sight of gon’s lips pressing against the little moon. he looks curiously down at it once its handed back, finding the metal warm and fogged with gon’s breath.*

a blessing? that’s weird.

*he encloses the pendant in his fist, gaze drifting to the one gon set aside.*

Of course!

[He lifts the pendant off the side of the tub and deposits it into Killua's hands. Watches him with bated breath. It's special when Mito does it, yes, but it'll be extra special the first time Killua does it. It feels like their partnership is strengthening now that they have a physical representation of it to care for.

He wonders who put these things in here anyway, and whether or not they knew him and Killua would be using it before they got in here. Part of him gets the urge to chuck in all the bath bombs to see if more things come in pairs but he supposes this won't be the only bath they'll have together.]

*nervous now that gon's watching him all expectantly, killua gulps and brings the sun pendant to his lips, trying to remember exactly how gon did it. it was just a kiss, right? but somehow it had made his heart flutter as if he'd pressed it directly to his own lips instead. his gaze flicks up to meet gon's as his lips touch the metal, holding for a moment before he quickly breaks both the eye and lip contact and thrusts it back out toward him, cheeks burning.*

[He watches him kiss the pendant, jealous of the piece of metal's blessing. Gon closes his fingers around the pendant, taking it out of Killua's outstretched hands and holding it to his chest.]

You gotta bless me now, okay? [He says, closing his eyes and puckering his lips.]

*killua looks up to see gon now puckering his lips at him, waiting for another kiss. he's glad his eyes are closed so he can't see the steam pouring out of his ears.*

ehh? gon...

*he grumbles and pouts, but can't leave him waiting too long, his heart bumping against his ribs to drive him forward. pulling his knees up, he crosses the sea of stars between them to press his lips against gon's.*

[Like celestial bodies hovering over a plane of glittering stars, their lips collide into one. Time feels like it's stopped just to witness their kiss, leaving both of them bathing in sheepish affection.

His heart skips a giddy beat, no doubt the beat of someone young and in love. When the first one comes to a natural end he finds himself diving in for another, impossible to satiate if it's from Killua. He cups his cheek in one hand and sets the other on his shoulder, touching his hot skin.]

*gon grabs and kisses him with such vigor that killua's spine instantly melts into butter, and the knees he'd placed between them sink back into the water as he falls headfirst into the kiss. having gon pour all his barreling energy into him is exhilarating like nothing else, his touch burning him like the sun killua sees him as.*

[He lavishes his cool moon in sunlight, making him glow beautifully when he finally moves away again. Gon gazes into his beautiful sapphire eyes, his tongue darting out to lick off a bit of moisture off his lips. Killua's lips were so heavenly and plush against his that he can still feel an invisible imprint of them even when they've parted.]

*head positively spinning by the time they pull apart, killua’s dazed gaze hovers around gon’s glistening lips, swallowing hard at the sight of his saliva on them. he feels a throb down below the water, and squeezes his parted legs back together uncomfortably.*

gon… do you… wanna get out?

*rubbing his thighs together as he throbs again, he mumbles thickly.*

there’s a… bed in the other room…

[His imaginary cat ears perk up at the word "bed". Knowing exactly what Killua means, he immediately stands up, his slowly reviving member on full display.]

Y-yeah, let's get out.

[He steps out of the tub and retrieves two towels from the stand, holding one out for Killua while he rubs the other down his wet chest.]

*catching on quickly, gon stands up right in front of him and brings him face to face with — well, it. another bolt of arousal shooting through him, killua stumbles to his feet after him, so dizzy he nearly drops the proffered towel.*

it didn’t — um, it’s not going to give our clothes back until we leave, so…
