I’m going to miss those boys. Bisky said quietly to herself. Gon and Killua had just left to find Ging, leaving her to descend the tower they returned to from Greed Island. I wanted to mess with them. Instead I became their teacher and friend. Must be getting soft in my age. I’m old enough to be their mother…She then rolls her eyes. No, I still put them through hell with their training. That’s good enough for me.

She reached the bottom of the tower but when she placed her hand to the doorknob, she could immediately tell, something was off. It was positively buzzing with energy. “Has this building been infused with nen?” She ponders. Knowing there was no other way out of the tower, she hesitantly opens the door. Immediately being greeted by a cool blast of AC and the rumble of engines.

Her eyes widen in shock! “A Airship?!” She steps through the door, her shoes clicking on the wooden floorboards. As soon as she is passed the threshold the door slams shut behind her. Her first instinct isn’t panic. Instead she believes she understands. “The tower must have been built with the intention of taking whoever wins the game to their chosen destination. Transporting them on a airship upon exit.” She looks out the window seeing towns and cities below. “I guess I’ll just have to wait till we land.”

[Green boots click-click against stone tile, echoing through the hallway. Gon's heading back to his cabin, thoughts of Killua still heavy in his mind.

So busy thinking about when he got to see his body, he almost walks right into a strange girl. Stepping backwards, he gets a good look at her and doesn't recognize her at all. A brand new face!]

I'm sorry, I should've been watching where I was going! Did you just get here? I'm Gon, by the way!

Gon? What are you doing here? She asks bewildered. She raises a brow to him. “Why is he introducing himself?”

I just saw you a few minutes ago. I thought you and Killua were going to see Ging? Did the accompany bring you here?

...Huh? [He starts to get confused, then remembers two versions of himself exist. She must be talking about the other Gon...or even possibly a third one separate from them both!]

Are you, by chance, another person from the future? I don't know you at all, but you already seem to know Killua and that I'm looking for my dad. Sorry.. but what's your name?

What in the world are you talking about Gon? Did you hit your head when you fought Genthru? It’s me, Bisky!

She crosses her arms frowning at him. People don’t come from the future, Gon. That doesn’t happen. How could you not know me?

I'm telling you, I don't know who that is! [He looks frustrated.] Maybe you don't realize what's going on..?

So...Bisky, the truth is I entered this ship during the third phase of the Hunter Exam. I was asleep in the gym on an airship but when I woke up and left, I realized it wasn't the same airship I went to sleep on. I've been here for about a month now and I've met people from different timelines, even the future! It sounds like I'm lying, but I'm really not! There's a lot on this ship that can't be explained...

She taps her foot staring at the boy, feeling annoyed. Then is it a work of nen? Wait, don’t tell me, you don’t know nen yet either do you?

She stares at him carefully and notices faint traces of aura lingering around him. Then what he said starts to sink in. Did you say you’ve been here for a month? As in this doesn’t land?

I know what Nen is! I learned it here, from a..f-friend. [Were they still merely friends after what they had done? Gon questions himself, wearing a distant expression.]

Well, it hasn't landed for us yet. We haven't even found an exit. Killua's here, too.

She notes the boys slight shift as he mentions his friend. So you learned it from this person instead of Wing?

She puts her fist to her chin in thought. “What kind of place is this?” Did Killua arrive with you?

I told you, I don't know any of these people you keep mentioning. A woman named Pitou is who taught me. She awakened me and gave me a Nen book. It was pretty hard, though.. [He wasn't sure whether he was talking about the book or himself after training.]

No, he didn't arrive with me. Actually, I have no idea what happened to the Killua I know. The Killua I met is from a different timeline or something. He's a lot taller and more handsome and..he even smells different. Actually... [He laughs.] He doesn't like it when I mention the other one. I feel like I'm letting him down right now, hehe.

[It was crazy how in just a month, he had fallen in love with this Killua. His voice was light and swooning when he talked about him, completely obvious.]

Pitou? I’ll have to meet her. She may be knowledgeable in nen if she was willing to teach you.

She quickly however becomes distracted by Gons words. Specifically him calling Killua handsome.

I’ve never heard you call him that before Gon. Or I supposed, I haven’t heard it from the Gon and Killua I know. She chuckles to herself. “Maybe I can try to mess with them all over again.” She thinks.

Well, this does make the situation curious..She looks out the window. But if you’ve been here for so long, seems like I better get comfortable.

Well, I guess it's no question that your versions of us are different! There are a lot of Killuas, but the one who came here is my...boyfriend! [He flushes at the admission, never having told anyone about his relationship with Killua before.]

I could take you down to the cabins if you want! There are a bunch of blank doors past the ones with names of people we already know. Maybe your name will show up now?

”Young boys in love! This will make playing with them all the more fun.” Although she was curious why the Gon and Killua she knew never admitted to being such a thing. Were they not as close as she thought?

She looked at him curiously. My name will appear? Does this thing just assign me a room?

See, the hallways are kind of alive! They change over time. Sometimes new rooms open up that weren't there before! I'm not sure if the cabins will have your name, but I'm guessing they will, since they definitely weren't there at the beginning.

[He points past Bisky.] They're just down that way!

Alive huh? That doesn’t sound very pleasant..

The thought of being inside a living being makes her squirm.

So that’s all there is to this place? Trapped on an airship with our own personal rooms? I suppose it could be worse. You at least have your boyfriend to keep you warm at night. She teases.

Eh? O-oh, yeah, you're right..I do...

[The comment about being kept warm has him vigorously blushing as he recalls last night's activities. The friction had gotten them so warm that they were sweating all over each other. He still remembers the scent of a freshly bathed, sweat covered killua vividly, his body's aroma thick with a cocktail of green apple and salt and sex. He doesn't think he will ever be able to forget it.]

We've been searching for the exit, but I think we've slowed down a bit ever since doors closer to the beginning started opening up. It's hard to get the motivation to go out and search further when everything you need is right next to you.

She wanted to question him further about that. She knew him as the determined young hunter who would stop at nothing to achieve his goals, even risking everything just to do it. She cringed at the fresh memory of his wounds from his fight with the bomber. As well as the damage inflicted to Killuas hands during the dodgeball match.

This boy didn’t hold that same drive to be a hunter and find his father. Rather he seems happier. Well…while that does sound nice, I don’t think being trapped here will bring me any closer to having a husband.

She puts her hands to her hips. Guess I’ll have to make do for now. You say rooms appear, what do they lead to?

They lead to all kinds of crazy things! There's a room that turns you into a cat, a room that puts you in your underwear, a beach, a garden, a room that swaps your bodies, a room where you magically swap gifts, although I don't think it's open anymore..

[The first three rooms he mentioned are still tender from his memories of the other day and he tries not to think about them too hard.]

Basically, they seem like they can be pretty much anything. Some have effects, and some are just locations. Sometimes they trap you inside, too, so watch out!

A light blush came to her cheeks at the underwear room. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to avoid it or take a peak to see if any attractive men were inside.

I’m not sure what to make of that. Where do you spend most of your time? Wait! Let me guess.

She hums in thought for a moment. Knowing you, you prefer the beach one. I would think it reminds you of your home and you can go fishing.

[A hot flush blooms across his cheeks at the memory of being molested by that big purple monster with Killua. Certainly not a good first date, that's for sure.]

Uh! N-No, actually. The beach room is pretty dangerous, so I've been staying away from it.. a huge octopus monster attacked me and Killua. We weren't strong enough to fight it. It was scary...

We actually spend most of our time in the cat room because it's really comfy in there and has a well-stocked kitchen.

I’ve watched you both take in stronger foes than an octopus! If you truly are a past version of the Gon I know, it means we can jump start your training!

She laughs mischievously. Just know that I won’t go easy on you. Next time you go to the beach you’ll be able to send the beast flying. And have a nice dinner afterwards.

[He looks her up and down, wondering if he's missing something. Does this young girl really have the ability to teach Nen? He would think Pitou knows more because of her age..at least, what he assumes her age is.]

But..you make it sound really promising, so I can't say no! Maybe you can help me understand the book I got?

You have a book? Excellent! I’d assume you don’t have much in the ways of the basics. She watches him carefully, spotting the strong flow of aura that lingers around him. She thinks something is odd about it. It’s strong as she expected it would be. But something else seems to linger.

You mentioned another woman. Pitou? I assume she took the direct method with opening your pores.

[Gon takes his backpack off and digs through it for the book, showing it off to Biscuit. She must be around as strong as he is in the future, he guesses, and as far as he knows that means really strong.]

Uhuh! That's when I learned Ten. She did a lot to help me. I actually need to thank her again for it.

She inspects the book quietly. “I wonder if this woman used malicious energy to force his nen to awaken. There’s trace of bloodlust lurking around him. Does he not sense it?”

Describe her to me. If she is a master of Nen as well, it would be good to know what she has taught you directly. I need to know if I will need to go over it more thoroughly with you.

She's tall, curvy, short wavy white hair, oh, and she has cat ears and a tail! Is that what you wanted?

[He opens the book, going over the stuff he learned.] All I know right now is Ten. The rest of it is still pretty lost on me. I've tried learning some other ones but I don't think I'm good enough yet.

The others will come in time.

There’s many more to learn. It would be boring for me to go over them currently. I wonder why she would give you the book but only tell you ten.

It was a gift exchange room where you can pull almost anything out of a sack and give it as a gift. I guess she wanted me to learn Nen a whole lot for some reason. When I went to see her in her room, she awakened me but we didn't have time for anything else, haha. Training after that was pretty intense.

[Training...doubt still lingered in his heart that it was actually training, but would Pitou lie to him? She seems too kind to do that.]

Well whatever she did I can tell it’s left an effect on your nen. If it’s good or bad remains to be seen. I can certainly tell yours is stronger than I would expect it to be.

Guess she doesn’t waste time. ”I wonder why she would go to such lengths though. Even when he would talk about his past, Gon never mentioned a woman named Pitou. Could it be someone in his future? Or someone he never interacts with at all?”

Well, what will you do now?

Really? It's stronger? Huh, she must be amazing! [So the training did pay off! Gon wears a goofy grin on his flushed face. Maybe he should go back to her for more?]

I could show you where the cabins are!

She shrugs. Might as well. If I’m stuck here I don’t want to be sleeping in the hall.

Alright, come with me!

[He leads her down the hall to the fork where the cabins begin. Taking her through the arch, they walk past all the other rooms until a door with the name "Biscuit" appears.]

Biscuit! That's you, right? I'll let you open the door, since it's your cabin.

*melody is crossing the hallway on her way back from the music room, where she's been meeting up with killua for guitar lessons, when she discovers a young blonde girl peering out the windows of the airship.*

*she approaches the girl with a welcoming smile.*

hello, miss! i don't think we've met before. did you just arrive here?

Yes I have. She is observes the short woman curiously. “ don’t remember seeing her on Greed Island..” she thinks.

Do you know when this airship will land? After coming out of Greed Island, I would like to see my home again.

*it’s only once the girl turns around and melody gets a better look and listen does she realize something is a little off about her. melody’s eyes may be deceived, but her ears never lie. this girl’s heartbeat doesn’t sound at all like a child’s, not fast and vulnerable but tempered with strength and resolve. it’s almost as if… she isn’t a child at all! but with no way to bring up her age without seeming rude, she simply continues to smile pleasantly at the girl.*

greed island? oh, you mean the game gon and killua were trying to play!

You know Gon and Killua? She placed her hands on her hips smiling. Then allow me to introduce myself!

My name is Biscuit Krueger! Just call me Bisky. I was their Nen teacher on Greed Island. They just left me to find Gons father not long ago.

i’m melody, it’s nice to meet you!

*she nods politely, clasping her hands together with joy at the news.*

so they made it into the game! that’s good to know.

*this is the first news she’s gotten on the future of the boys, so she’s grateful to hear it.*

thank you for training them in nen. they were hard at work on their ren last time i saw them.

…well, the last time i saw them before i got here.

Her brow furrows in confusion. Last you saw them before coming here? What do you mean? And how did you get here? I assumed this would be a place winners for Greed Island go after beating the game.

It’s strange. I came through the door then it closed and the way back was gone.

it seems to be something different for everyone. i just walked through a door at my employer’s mansion…

*she sighs, supposing she should share what she knows so far.*

but now we’re all trapped here on this airship with doors leading to all kinds of strange rooms.

*she puts a hand on her chin in thought.*

it may be some kind of nen construct, but if it is, it’s the most elaborate and detailed i’ve ever borne witness to!

Pulled in without warning? Maybe someone wants us here?

She bites her thumb lightly. If it was a nen construct I’d imagine whoever made it would have to be on board. This wouldn’t be the work of a conjurer or manipulator. It would have to be a specialist.

But as she ponders this she questions Greed Island as well. “It took several Nen users to be able to make everything work for that game. Some of the items seemed to defy any kind of logic.”

How many people are here currently?

so far i’ve met killua, his younger sister alluka, gon, and my friend kurapika. only one of them is a specialist that i know of; but his power has nothing to do with this.

*she shakes her head.*

maybe it’s someone else i haven’t found yet.

I didn’t know Killua had a sister. He never mentioned her before.

She then paused. Gon and Killua are here? That can’t be right. The name Kurapika does stick out as well. The boys mentioned him once.

You can rule out Kurapika and I know the boys abilities. What about Killuas sister?

*tapping her chin again, melody considers her memory of alluka, carefree and sweet, acting younger than she probably is, not unlike the woman she's speaking to.*

she seems very young -- i'm not sure if she knows a thing about nen.

and most likely the gon and killua here are from a different timeline than the ones you know. they said they were still taking the hunter exam when they got here, and didn't even recognize me!

Different timelines? I find that hard to believe at the moment.

She pauses. “Does this woman have any reason she might lie? If we are trapped here currently I wouldn’t think so.”

I’ll have to ask them when I find them.

*finally melody allows her smile to falter, sympathizing with bisky's confusion.*

i know it's a lot to take in. but i've been here for several weeks now with no end in sight...

I won’t give up the hope of escape. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life here..

Living trapped on an airship was a thought that upset her to no end currently.

*now worried that she's brought her spirits down too low, melody presses another smile to her face and tries to reassure her.*

i'm sure we'll be able to find a solution if we all work together! the more nen users who show up, the better our chances!
