[Sfw or Nsfw] Pokemon room

Hey, Killua! I wanna show you this really cool room I found! But first, it's going to be pretty far. I have an idea, though! Why don't we use your skateboards?

[So they did -- Now they're coasting down the hallway, Gon on Killua's old skateboard and Killua on his new one, and the only sound is the drone of wheels rolling underfoot. It's a bit boring, staring at the same ground for a long time, but when they spot the outstretched door Gon leads the way all the way down to it.]

Now, before you go in, you're gonna wanna close your eyes and take a deep breath or you'll get really dizzy!

[He enters the door and is met with a stone room lit by torches. The exit is obscured by a waterfall. Gon takes one look at Killua and smiles before leaping through the waterfall, coming out a Rockruff on the other side.]

Come on out! I wanna see what you turn into!

is this gonna turn me into a fish again?

*killua stands beside gon with his foot propped up on his board, eyeing the waterfall at the end of the tunnel with suspicion. he watches gon jump through, but the rushing water makes it impossible to see what happened to him on the other side. heaving a sigh, he hops back on his board and gives it a kick.*

might as well do it in style.

*with a gulp of breath, killua rides through the waterfall -- and crashes into the rocks on the other side, no longer able to control his board with his feet having shrunk into paws. he lets out a yelp as he tumbles into the pool below, thrashing and kicking his four legs. he's been turned into some kind of animal! sputtering water, he gasps,*

gon, what the hell!

[gonmorow]

[Sensing his best friend's struggle as some kind of cat-looking thing, Gon doggy-paddles out into the open water and grabs Killua by the scruff of the neck, pulling him over to the shallow rocks so he has a chance to recover. Gon then climbs out and looks at his reflection in the pool.]

It turns me into a dog. Isn't that cool? And you look like..a cat! [He wags his tail.] I like the stars on your ears and tail!

*killua coughs up some water, shaking himself dry with a shudder. the skateboard was clearly the wrong play. he squints up at gon, who's turned into some cartoonish approximation of a puppy with a spiky ruff around its neck.*

you don't look like any dog i've ever seen...

*he gets shakily to his paws and pads over to the edge of the water, peering at his reflection in the water. he finds it covered in blue-and-black fur, comically large, rounded ears framing a babylike face with big yellow eyes. he whips around to look at his tail, waggling the star on the end of it with a cute little scowl.*

...i look like some kinda pokémon!

[gonmorow]

A pokemon? What's that?

[He practices moving on four legs again, stretching out his legs and spine and letting out a hearty "Ruff!"

He finds Killua's scowl cute.]

Maybe you have a better idea what's going on than I do! Any hints?

*killua is still busy examining his transformed body, grimacing at the sight of his soft little paws.*

it's just a monster collecting game... you haven't played a lot of video games, have you?

[gonmorow]

Nope, I haven't really played any. Most of my childhood was spent in the forest.

[Thirsty, he leans down and starts drinking from the pool, lifting little ripples with his tongue.]

Don't you wonder what else is in this forest? Maybe we should explore!

i guess, but... if this really is a pokémon game, we might have to battle some other monsters in there.

*killua waggles his tail again, noticing that the more momentum he builds, the more the star on the end begins to glow.*

we should figure out what kinda powers we have first.

[gonmorow]

Powers? Hmm...

[Gon copies Killua, shaking his tail and looking back at at it to see if it's glowing. However, nothing happens. He tries using Nen next, but it doesn't seem to work either.

The rockruff begins comically waving its limbs around, walking itself in a circle. Then, getting an idea, it brushes its paw over the rough rocks in its neck fur. They start glowing and a few rocks are ejected into the lake, surprising him.]

Woah! Don't let me do that while I'm kissing you..jeez!

[devil_or_angle]

*killua jumps straight in the air like a startled cat, sparks flying off his body as the sharp shards shooting from gon's ruff narrowly miss him.* shit!

*he lands back on his feet, tail stranding stick-straight and glowing bright. his jaw slowly drops open.* did i just...

*mustering his strength like he's about to use ren, he shuts his eyes and focuses on the energy he feels crackling in his core. it shoots down his spine and another spark of electricity sizzles off the star on his tail, dissipating in the air. he grins over at gon.*

turns out i do have electric powers.

[gonmorow]

[The sparks just narrowly miss Gon and he backs up, amazed.]

Mine's rock and yours is electricity..I wonder which is better?

[Pointing himself away from Killua, Gon focuses all his energy in his ruff and produces more rocks, hitting a tree with them. He practices on an imaginary target, seeking the center of it and hitting somewhat inaccurately.]

I can do better than that!

electricity, obviously!

*killua's starting to get excited, planting his four paws in the dirt and focusing his energy through his tail like a lightning rod. he shoots a bolt at the same tree as gon, zapping off a couple of small branches. he gives a fanged grin and turns to gon, yellow eyes sparkling.*

c'mon, let's battle!

[gonmorow]

[Gon looks at the tree's newly fried wounds with amazement. He wishes he could do something so cool, but rocks are a fine power too. At Killua's prompting, he gets into posture for battle, bracing himself on his four paws.

Opting to make the first move, Gon runs up to Killua and tackles him.]

[devil_or_angle]

*unused to his paws, killua falls victim to the tackle, tumbling to the ground under gon's barreling weight. before he can muster up another electrical attack, his instincts kick in and he chomps his jaws around one of gon's floppy ears, rolling him onto his back as he tugs on it.*

[gonmorow]

Ow! [Gon yelps out in pain, ripping his ear away from the offending jaws. He quickly jumps away from Killua, barking as he prepares another Rock Throw.

The determination of battle makes his hit much more accurate as he slings more stones at his best friend.]

This is fun!

yeah!

*killua dodges some of the shards but can't escape them all, hissing as one strikes his flank. he skids to a halt in the dirt and focuses his energy, his body charging up in preparation to launch another thundershock. his fur stands on end, little sparks of static buzzing around him.*

better watch out!

[gonmorow]

[Seeing Killua charge up, Gon readies himself and starts running, hoping that Killua will miss a moving target. His little heart pounds haughtily in his chest with adrenaline as he stays on the move, focusing on the precise moment Killua fires it off.]

Can't get me! bleh!

hey!

*unable to contain the charged energy any longer, killua's body explodes with electricity, launching a much bigger bolt than before at gon. but the little dog is fast, escaping just in time for it to scorch the earth instead. frustrated with his failure, killua lets out a ferocious roar -- one so powerful it sends gon flying into the bushes. surprised, he runs over to find him.*

gon!

[gonmorow]

[Just when Gon thinks he's in the clear, a mighty force launches him back into the bushes. He yelps, landing bent over a prickly shrub.

Hearing his name called, he scrambles up and out of the bushes, wondering if Killua was still in battle mode.]

I'm okay! just a little scratched up.. and hungry.

[devil_or_angle]

*killua sighs in relief when gon pops out of the bushes again, glad he hadn't been thrown too far. he's gonna have to be careful with those roars.*

dummy... *he shakes his head hopelessly.* c'mon, let's find something to eat.

[gonmorow]

Okay!

[Gon shakes all the debris out of his fur and starts walking along the forest path, on the hunt for something edible.]

How does it feel being a cat? I mean, I know how it is in the cat room, but its gotta be a little different, right?

...after that roar, i think i'm more like a lion.

*killua walks beside gon, gazing at the forest around him with his wide yellow eyes. he can see so far into the distance that it feels like he can even see through things.*

it's fun, though. i can see really well and using electricity doesn't hurt at all. maybe one day i'll get this good at it as a human...

*he nudges gon's shoulder playfully as they walk, lashing his tail against his.*

i don't have to ask you what it's like to be a dog, 'cuz you already were one.

[gonmorow]

It really doesn't hurt? Wow, it sure looked like it did back there!

[Gon playfully nudges back, tumbling into Killua slightly because he's still not used to four legs. On the way down the path, Gon spots a bush just off the edge full of round, blue Oran berries. He gets close to it, sniffing them cautiously.]

Think we can eat these? I guess if they were poison, they wouldn't do anything to you, huh?

[devil_or_angle]

*killua scrutinizes the berries, giving them a sniff.*

who knows. the airship's been coming up with more and more ways to poison me lately. but i'll try them first.

*he takes a small bite out of one of them, chewing it carefully. he's been poisoned enough times to know what it feels like, know the sort of tang and burn to watch out for. but these just seem to be regular old berries, albeit not very tasty ones. he pulls a face, but swallows.*

i guess they're edible. not very sweet, though.

[gonmorow]

[Gon leans down and bites one of the berries fresh off the stem, slowly chewing it. It has a weird taste that he can't quite place, like a little bit of everything--except sweetness, which it is sorely lacking in. While it isn't anything very special, it reminds him of foraging at home, something that makes him feel homesick.]

They're okay. They don't taste wrong, so I hope they're fine. Or else Kurapika might have to come and dig our graves..

Hmm. I wonder what he'd turn into?

*killua eats another one, not enjoying it much but knowing he has to keep up his strength in case of a battle. he chews thoughtfully, then grins.*
